KandL Coaching Notes/Foundation/Mastering Mindset for Beginners: Unlock Your Potential for Life Success

Where to even begin?

Let's make it really easy for you...

Everything you want in life begins with self-awareness.

Now that you've read that,

You're done.

You're complete.

You don't need to do anything more.

You don't need to read more, you don't need to buy any more courses, you should be good to go.

Yes, seriously! That's all there is to it.

If you don't believe, me, we can keep going.

Think about a problem you've recently had.

Where did you actually fit into it?

The relationship you're in? The inability to maintain a workout routine? The job you hate?

Where do you actually fit in?

Now it's very possible that you are 100% the reason for your problems.

You may be the one causing all the issues in your relationship.

Your inability to go to the gym is because you live in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do.

You may hate your job because everyone and their mama is out to get you.

But that's "possibility."

The reality is that you're only a part of a relationship.

You may be doing all the work though at a certain point maybe it isn't about you.

Your past affects how you see your current relationship.

Your partner's past affects how they see the relationship.

Your inability to go to the gym may be that you're lazy and don't want to make the time and say, "I can't" to absolve yourself of responsibility.

The job you hate may actually just be a really bad job because every job is made up.

In reality we're all making things up all along the way.

Though at the end of the day...

You chose the relationship.

You chose your desire to lose that stubborn belly.

You chose that job and employer.

So what's the difference between people who have it all yet still are miserable versus people who seem to have nothing at all yet are ridiculously happy?

Self. Awareness.

Say it again with me, awareness of myself.

Peace does not come from external factors like money, sex, politics, and religion.

Sure, more money may help you breathe a little easier though you probably already hate your average 20% taxes.

Peace comes from internal perspective of "I have what I need and can have what I want but I don't have what I want because I've put myself here."

Most of your stress and anxiety comes from the fact that you weigh yourself down for not being where you want to be and blaming your situation, blaming others, blaming everything outside of you instead of just looking at yourself and saying "maybe I put myself here."

I am not a licensed clinician, therapist, psychotherapist, etc. so I'm not gonna talk about real trauma (having worked in mental healthcare for the better part of 11 years, I've seen it all) and anything categorically assigned to a therapist counselor psychologist or psychiatrist...

Though, most likely, with your ability to read a blog on your free time means that you're not one of those people who has an psychiatric and life debilitating trauma.

Though your problems are valid and they are yours...

So, the first step to moving forward is owning YOUR situation and asking YOURSELF, "What can I do?"

To the light inside you,
